Since publishing, we have been asked a lot – what is ALUV?

We want to answer that question and go over a quick example to help you understand how you can ADD SKILL. ADD VENTURE. on ALUV.

ALUV connects Students and small/micro business owners to trade equity in the businesses for the money and skill of the students.
Students and business owners list themselves with a portfolio on our site and we’ll help them to find each other to become business partners.

For the students, it means the possibility to use their skills in an environment where they get real responsibility and to earn as much they are willing to invest in terms of the equity bought and the time invested.
For the businesses, it means the opportunity to find skilled partners in areas of expertise that are usually way too expensive to hire in and to get some investment money.

Let’s go over it with an example:

Anna is a third-year marketing student and looking for a job. Then there is Micheal who owns a local bookstore in Sacramento. Both join and list themselves with a profile on ALUV.
Micheal evaluates his business at a worth of 40,000$ and is willing to sell 10% of his equity for 4,000$.

Anna sees the offer and contacts, Micheal, over our platform, they start connecting and decide to trade the equity through our easy to understand pre-build ALUV contracts.
ALUV receives a commission of 10% of the traded equity price meaning in this case 400$.

After signing ALUV guides the parties through the process of joining and establishing their newly acquired partnership to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

ALUV will assist the parties throughout their journey offering them access to the network of all worldwide ALUV partnerships, providing legal and business-related advice at a low price. Through Annas‘ marketing skills Micheal and Anna were able to grow the annual revenue of their bookstore from 40,000$ to 70,000$, from this annual income only a small 1% go to ALUV for all of its base services.

Anna gets a job, Micheal gets a marketing expert and we are able to bring two people together, we take nothing less than a win-win-win situation.
